The Delta Dental Community Care Foundation awarded nearly $4 million to 374 regional dental clinics in 2016, helping to increase access to treatment and education in underrepresented communities.

Foundation grants are designed to help extend the ability of clinics to care for more economically disadvantaged children and adults, particularly in rural locations where access to dental care may be limited.

Since its launch in 2011, the Foundation has given more than $14 million in grants to nonprofit community clinics and health care programs. The Foundation’s philanthropic activities are detailed in its annual community benefits activities report.
